Khaled Helmy: Front Man
Khaled is a very talented vocalist and musician, as he doesn't only have great skills in singing and a unique voice, but he's also a songwriter, guitarist, and pianist in SoundSmudge.
Khaled participated in many projects throughout his journey in music that started more than 20 years ago, until he met Eslam in 2012 and they've been playing together since. They were covering bands like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Rival Sons, Muse, and many more. In 2020 Eslam introduced Khaled to Samer and the SoundSmudge journey started.

Eslam Rafaat "S": Guitar
Eslam is the founder and the heart of SoundSmudge, as he is doing the songwriting, management, and production.
He started playing guitar in 1999, Co founded a band called Necropolis and had some gigs, he also played some covers including Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, and some Nu metal bands.
Eslam studied music theory, recording, and mixing, he has some amazing skills especially when it comes to structuring and creating his incredible solos.
His favorite guitarists are Joe Satriani, Nuno Bettencourt, Rick Beato, Marty Friedman, Chris Oliva, and Alex Skolnick.

Samer Rizk: Bass
The mastermind behind the band's name is our bassist, Samer Rizk. Samer was a guitarist in the past, also an old-school rocker, and a fan of all music genres. He expanded his knowledge of music by studying music theory, as he was a Jazz musician, but his passion for music wasn't only for Jazz music.
Samer used Jazz as a way to study music deeply and to understand more about harmony and melody, he then met the band members "Eslam" & "Khaled" and decided to venture into the world of bass and started to be very passionate about it as the band inspired him to be a bass player.

Ahmed Bassiouni "King": Drums
King is the backbone of SoundSmudge, with perfect timing, hard-hitting grooves, and great energy that drives the band to new heights. He is responsible for creating the pulse that drives each song.
He was influenced by Nu metal and Japanese rock, so he decided to start playing drums to create sick and creative beats.
King's journey started with SoundSmudge when he recorded "Mr. Fancy Pants" and since then, he has fully joined the band.
Some of King's favorite drummers are John Dolmayan, Joey Jordison, The Rev, Danny Carey, and Mike Wengren.
