Emerging from the underground music scene in 2021, SoundSmudge is a ferocious heavy metal band that is formed by four talented musicians - Vocalist Khaled Helmy, lead guitarist Eslam Raafat, bassist Samer Rizk and drummer Ahmed Bassiouni "King". The band has quickly gained a loyal following for their raw skills and creativity that appears in their songs and performances.

Khaled's powerful vocals and commanding stage presence take center stage, while Eslam's shredding solos and intricate riffs provide the perfect backdrop. Meanwhile, Samer's thundering basslines and King's smooth rhythms fuel the band's driving sound.

Drawing inspiration from classic metal bands like System Of A Down, Iron Maiden, and Metallica, SoundSmudge infuses their music with a modern edge, blending elements of thrash, speed, Nu metal, and Power metal into their own unique sound. Their lyrics tackle themes of rebellion, social issues, and personal struggles, resonating with audiences worldwide.

While SoundSmudge may have only just begun their journey, they have already made a significant impact on the metal scene, as the band was nominated as Band of the Year in 2023 by Musivv for their first single "The Hook".
